CASE STUDY · Multiplayer Party Game
ANONYM
ANONYM: Yes or No — a secret-voting party game for iOS and Android. Built end to end by BloodNexus for Cozy Bear Studios and live on both stores.

- Our role
- Full-cycle development, UI/art, store launch
The brief
A group sits together, the host picks a theme and a spice level, and everyone answers awkward yes-or-no questions in secret. Only the room's percentages are revealed — never who said what.
We took the founder's prototype to a polished, store-approved game: room system, voting, a prompt library that grows without app updates, new UI and art direction, ads and publishing on both stores.
Challenges we solved
Anonymity people trust
Votes are never tied to a name or device. The host's phone only collects room totals, so the reveal shows percentages and nothing else.
Zero sign-up friction
No accounts — players get a temporary session identity and join a room in seconds, so the group never loses momentum.
Spicy content, approved by both stores
We planned separate content-rating strategies for Apple and Google so the mature prompts stayed in and both reviews passed.
A first-time founder's evolving idea
Scope changes were absorbed within the original agreement, with device testing across screen sizes before every submission.
What we built
- Host-controlled rooms and pacing
- Secret yes/no voting with live % reveal
- Spice levels from icebreaker to extreme
- Hundreds of prompts, updatable without a release
- End-of-round verdict screens
- Ads only between rounds, never during reveals
Results
- Live on the App Store and Google Play under the client's company
- Approved on both stores with mature content intact
- Full IP handed over; the client would work with us again
